The Antarctic Heritage Trust is hiring four full-time employees to run their post office in Goudier, a micro-island off of the Antarctic Peninsula. Brutal working conditions include extreme temperatures, lacking running water, scarce food, and more than 2,000 “smelly” penguins.

The post office work includes sorting through 70,000 letters sent by visiting researchers and cruise ship passengers, and carrying “a big heavy box over slippery rocks…while dodging penguins.” Interested applicants need apply by February 27th to the Antarctic Heritage Trust.
