In an attempt to score tickets to the premier of Star Wars: Force Awakens, two fans launched a model X-wing into space and filmed it.

The fans make up Project Helium Tears, which takes photos of Earth from space using weather balloons. They spent around £1,200 attaching a model X-wing to on of their balloons and filming it, according to the BBC.

The duo tweeted the video to J.J. Abrams, director of the newest Star Wars film slated to be released this Christmas.
