A new study shows a 23% increase in cognitive processing ability in those who recently watched a 3D movie.

Participants of the study also showed an 11% increase in reaction times and experienced"brain boosts" for up to 20 minutes after viewing.

The study's authors, Patrick Fagan and Brendan Walker, believe that stereoscopic viewing could be used to help improve the performances of professionals like surgeons, boxers, and tennis players.
