Sebastian Schippler's upcoming Victoria is about a bank heist that somehow develops during a night of partying - and it was filmed in one, nearly two and a half hour-long take. No cuts.

Last year, Birdman and True Detective impressed us with some sequences that involved very long takes. But in both cases, cuts were spliced together to make takes seem longer than they were. Victoria doesn't cheat.

The film stars Laia Costa and Frederick Lau and won an award for Best Cinematography at the Berlin Film Festival. It will be released in the fall by Adopt Films.
