Kathleen Hanna is an adorable alien who can’t flirt in ‘Mryna the Monster’
Julie Ruin's Kathleen Hanna stars as the titular monster in the 14 and a half minute long short Myrna the Monster. Well, her very distinctive voice does.
Writer-director Ian Samuels uses both CGI and puppetry (Samuels used to work for Jim Henson Co. and Sesame Street) in order tell his story about displaced alien trying to make a connection whilst having a bit of an existential crisis in Los Angeles.
Just a small warning guys: don’t watch this at work. As we definitely got surprised with some full-frontal male nudity.
