HBO confirms preliminary talks for 'Deadwood' movie
HBO confirmed to Variety that they are in “very preliminary discussions” about a movie version of the hit Western series Deadwood. When the show was cancelled in 2008, two movies were promised by the network, but neither of them have been made.
The talks emerged after actor Garret Dillahunt, who played Francis Wilcott on the show, sent a tweet hinting at the possibility of a film.
So uh....I'm hearing credible rumors about a #Deadwood movie. #Everybodypray
