David Lynch has made us wait long enough for the next incarnation of Twin Peaks. Originally set for release in 2016, co-creator Mark Frost recently announced that the series will be delayed until 2017.

Frost says, “A lot of people always look back at Twin Peaks and say that was the start of this explosion we’ve had in good television drama, but we did it in a time when there were still only three networks. The challenge for us is to try and come back and raise the bar above what we did the last time."

The scripts are finished and production will be done in September. We know, or at least hope, it will be worth the wait!
