New details have emerged regarding the reboot of director David Lynch's cult TV series Twin Peaks on Showtime next year. On the Television Critics Association Summer Press Tour, Showtime president David Nevins revealed that the new series will be shot as one long film, which will then be divided into segments to be aired. Mark Frost, who wrote the original series with Lynch, wrote the screenplay to be filmed in this style. This could lead to nine or more episodes going to air.
