Bees are "sick of humans" in South Africa
Bees are reportedly "sick of humans," along with every other non-human on the planet. An American strain of the bacterial disease foulbrood is rapidly spreading across South African bee colonies. While the bees survived the European version of the disease, the American version is threatening to wipe out bee farming in all of Africa, which could seriously effect 90% of food production. "It's exactly the same as around the world, the bees are sick of humans and the pressures and the stresses humans are putting on them," says bee specialist Mike Allsopp.
