Bill Gates' bank account hacker busted, again
If you're only going to steal a few thousand dollars, you really don't have to hack the bank account of the richest man in the world. But that's exactly what Konstantin Simeonov Kavrakov, 31, is accused of doing.
Kavrakov was arrested by the Philippine National Police on April 9th while he was reportedly trying to withdraw money from an ATM using stolen credit cards. Authorities claim that the man is the head of a Bulgarian hacking ring that specializes in credit card fraud. The police say that he also offered them a $12,000 bribe when they first approached him.
Kavrakov was first arrested for the Bill Gates hack in 2011 by police in Paraguay and Philippine authorities say that they are trying to find out how he managed to get out of jail.
