This is the US military's new self-steering bullet
The U.S. military has created a self-steering bullet. Able to change directions mid-flight in order to hit a moving target, the bullet can compensate for weather and wind using an optical guidance system.
The U.S. Department of Defense's advanced agency DARPA posted videos to YouTube showing off the live-fire tests by an expert sniper and a first-time sniper. In both cases, whether or not the target was centered in the crosshairs, the bullet corrects itself midair to hit the target.
