Bull gores man
An American tourist Benjamin Miller was gored by a bull during a Spanish bull run on Saturday. "It's the biggest goring wound I've ever operated on," said surgeon Enrique Crespo. The wound is 16 inches long.

The activity is so dangerous that it's attended by a medically-equipped helicopter on standby. An excerpt from Alexander Fiske-Harrison's safety guide, "Fiesta: How To Survive The Bulls Of Pamplona":
"…one of the most vital things of all is to stay down. The great fatal error is to try to get up. You re-attract the bull's attention and it's at that point that your central mass with all your vital organs is at horn height."
Miller is still in intensive care.
