police raids in Paris since the state of emergency was declared following the terror attacks
Following the terror attacks in Paris on November 13th, French president François Hollande declared a state of emergency, allowing police to raid homes without judicial oversight.
Today, French Interior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve announced that police have carried out 2,200 police raids since the attacks and held 263 people for questioning. Authorities in France also have shut down three mosques, citing a "pattern of radicalization".
