percent of surveyed Republican primary voters in favor of bombing Agrabah, the fictional country from Disney's Aladdin

In a Public Policy Polling survey [PDF] of 532 Republican primary voters on December 16 and 17, 30% said they were in favor of bombing Agrabah, the fictional country where Disney's Aladdin is set (13% were opposed and 57% were not sure).

Other results were not quite as amusing: 28% supported shutting down mosques, 26% believed Islam should be illegal in the United States, 54% supported banning Muslims from entering the US, 46% supported creating a national database of Muslims, and 36% believed believe that thousands of Arabs in New Jersey were celebrating after 9/11 (something that the leading Republican candidate, Donald Trump tried to make a thing) though no proof was ever produced.

On the slightly brighter side, 79% believed in criminal background checks for firearms.
