Canadian Parliament member blames tight underpants for hurried exit
When Canadian MP, Pat Martin, suddenly ran out of the chamber in the midst of one-by-one vote he was ordered to sit down by the speaker of the house but he just kept going. His reasoning? The underwear he was wearing was too tight, making it impossible to sit.
According to the BBC, Martin explained that "They had men's underwear on for half price and I bought a bunch that was clearly too small for me. I find it difficult to sit for any length of time."
Martin's fellow MP's applauded his excuse and he made it back in time to cast his vote, assumingly while going commando.
