Scotland has been rated the best European country for LGBT equality, according to a new study conducted by human rights organization ILGA-Europe. Named the Rainbow Index, the report uses 48 factors to determine rankings, including measures to tackle hate crime, employment equality, parenting rights, and legal gender recognition. Belgium, Malta, Sweden, and Croatia were runners up, while Armenia, Russia, and Azerbaijan came in at the bottom. See the full chart here.
