Pope Francis' specially-appointed commissioner for the protection of children, Peter Saunders, calls Cardinal George Pell "a dangerous individual" and "almost sociopathic" in an interview with 60 Minutes.

Saunders accuses Cardinal Pell of knowing about priests abusing children and doing nothing to stop them. Cardinal Pell, a survivor of child sexual abuse in the Catholic Church, was appointed by Pope Francis to the new Pontifical Commission for the Protection of Minors. "He has a catalogue of denigrating people, of acting with callousness, cold-hardheartedness - almost sociopathic, I would go as far as to say - this lack of care," says Saunders.
